Project: Website Analytics Support and Training
Industry: Multiple B2B and B2C
Scope: To improve digital marketing results and efficiency via analysis of website marketing metrics. Projects (several ongoing) included proper configuration and verification of Google Analytics, hands-on training for marketing teams, custom automated reporting, custom marketing campaign tagging (e.g., UTM parameters), metrics analysis and interpretation, and providing data-based recommendations for campaign and website content improvements.
Results: All clients have gained fresh and actionable insights into website performance and visitor behavior, plus visibility into marketing campaign performance for email, social, and other acquisition channels. iBeam clients now use these insights to improve their website content, marketing campaigns, and digital marketing ROI. Clients receiving hands-on training have also become much more self-sufficient in these areas.
Project: B2B Inbound Marketing
Scope: To develop and implement inbound marketing programs for demand generation and new prospect development. Our marketing services included email and social media marketing, search engine marketing, new marketing content and website landing page development, contact database management, lead scoring and qualification, and hand-offs to field sales.
Results: Increased web traffic; new ‘marketing qualified leads’ (MQLs) for field sales engagement; significant growth of in-house email list for lead nurturing programs.

Industry: Customer Experience Analytics
Scope: To develop multiple real-world customer case studies for a leading customer experience analytics firm. Included project management, phone interviews with end customer management, writing, editing, and proofing, technical graphic elements, and coordination with client and their graphic designer.
Results: Multiple pieces are currently in use as a core part of client’s sales kit and content marketing efforts, including email and web-based promotion.
Project: New Websites and Website Content
Scope: To assist clients with new website development and website upgrades. iBeam marketing services included overall project management, development of new site structure and key messages, content copy writing and editing, WordPress CMS administration, visual/graphic design support, and on-page SEO elements. Also included installation and configuration of Google Analytics for advanced reporting and analysis capabilities.
Results: New websites gave clients a fresh, contemporary look-and-feel with relevant, focused content for target audiences. Our ongoing website analytics support gives them the insights needed to make continual improvements to content marketing and inbound marketing campaigns.
Project: Solution Collateral Development
Industry: PC Workstation Security
Scope: To produce new solution collateral for a provider of innovative information security products. Marketing services included project management and resource coordination, new and existing content development and updates, writing, editing, and proofing, technical graphics, and coordination with graphic design.
Results: A 4-page solution overview brochure and partner solution series with latest solution benefits, application scenarios, and refreshed branding.
Project: Contributed Article and Whitepaper
Industry: Telecommunications / Power Utilities
Scope: To develop a technical article for trade journal publication, and then adapt that work into a whitepaper for awareness, reputation enhancement, and demand generation purposes. Involved working closely with vendor product management to refine, augment, and polish the original concept into cohesive content deliverables.
Results: Successful article placement in the premier trade journal for this industry segment, plus ongoing use of the whitepaper, which was still in productive use several years after initial launch.
Project: Direct Mail and Teleprospecting Campaign
Industry: Insurance Software (SaaS)
Scope: To conceptualize and develop a new campaign and messaging theme for direct marketing and sales prospecting to insurance company executives. Included project management, campaign process mapping, theme/message brainstorming and development, dimensional direct mail deliverables, web microsite content, sales slide deck and webcast deliverables, and sales team training for implementation.
Results: Campaign drove new appointments for client’s outside sales team and helped close an awareness gap at the C-level of target organizations.

Scope: To take an existing series of related blog posts and repackage them into a single marketing whitepaper. (Also see related blog post.)
Results: We use this piece as a website offer and a traffic driver based on social media outreach. It is freely distributed — no registration required — in order to maximize exposure and sharing potential. It’s also posted for PDF download on Slideshare.net, which gives us additional exposure.
